ALUMNI / PAST PUPILS
At St. Colman’s, we take pride in the achievements of our past pupils, who have gone on to thrive in a variety of fields, from higher education to
successful careers in business, the arts, science, and public service. Our Alumni include doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, and teachers,
each of whom carries with them the values, knowledge, and confidence cultivated during their time with us. St. Colman’s prepares students not
only academically but also socially and emotionally, equipping them with the resilience, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities
necessary to navigate the challenges of the wider world. With a strong focus on both personal growth and academic excellence, we ensure that
our pupils are ready to make a meaningful impact wherever they go.
Aaron McMullan - Operations Manager, Nitronica
The skills I developed in St Colman’s laid a strong foundation for my professional growth, shaping both my
work ethic and interpersonal abilities. Time management, honed through balancing academics,
extracurriculars, and social responsibilities, has been invaluable in meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks in
the workplace. Collaborative projects instilled a deep understanding of teamwork and effective
communication, enabling me to navigate group dynamics and contribute meaningfully in professional
settings.
Additionally, the critical thinking and problem-solving skills nurtured through challenging academia and
coursework have helped me approach complex tasks with confidence and creativity. The culture in
St. Colman’s encouraged resilience and adaptability, qualities that have been essential in overcoming
obstacles and embracing new opportunities in my career. It was great to get a visit from school to our Labs
with St Colman’s students and staff and strengthening the relationship between school, industry and
community.
Dara O’Reilly - District Nurse, North Belfast
I will never forget my time at St Colman’s. I made so many friends and had amazing teachers who believed
in me and pushed me to my full potential. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
The school helped me gain confidence not only academically, but also as a person which I now utilise within
my role as a District Nurse. I was recently invited back to St. Colman’s to speak at Prize Day, and couldn’t have
been happier to talk about the positive experiences and education, both academic and pastoral that
St Colman’s provided me with on my journey from Year 8 to A-Levels.
Thank you St Colman’s!
