PARENT INTERVIEW
We have a family of five children. When our eldest was due move on to secondary school we viewed three possible schools and he went to the school we
thought was best suited.
Right from his very first drop off at St Colman’s he never looked back. He went on through to complete his Year 12 and leaving with a great set of GCSE results.
We are so glad we decided to make that move it really boosted his self esteem and confidence. He was happy again and enjoyed his time at St Colman’s. Our
next four children all followed in his footsteps and went to enjoy and value their time in St Colman’s all doing very well in their GCSEs. Our youngest son
performed exceptionally well in his GCSEs and decided to continue on with his A levels in St. Colmans Sixth Form.
The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. The children are encouraged to do the very best to their ability. They feel valued and cared for and the school is
also very approachable with any concerns. If we had to do it all again St Colman’s would definitely be our first choice school!

Mr Tony McCusker, Chair of Board of Governors
I have been a Governor at St Colman’s for nearly ten years. I’ve always felt a deep connection to St Colman’s. I wanted to give back to the community that
played such a pivotal role in shaping my own life. St Colman’s stands out because of its strong sense of community. The school doesn’t just focus on academic
achievement; it also prioritizes respect, kindness, and creativity. These values serve as a compass for our decisions. The collaborative relationships between staff,
students, and parents make it a truly unique place. I believe our school instils confidence, resilience, and a sense of responsibility in its students. These qualities
prepare them not only for academic success but also for life beyond school. If you want a school that nurtures both academic and personal growth, this is the
place for your family.
Mr Patrick McCluskey Board of Governors.
