PUPIL VOICE
In St Colman’s, we want our pupils to feel like they have a voice and that their opinions are valued. This is the primary motivation for our Student
Council. The St Colman’s Student Council is a representative body of students elected by their peers to voice pupil concerns and advocate for
students’ interests. The Student Council is composed of students from each form class and Prefects from Sixth Form. Student Council
Representatives take the opinions of their peers and feed back to staff at monthly Student Council meetings about what changes they would
like to see in the school. The Student Council gives students the opportunity to use their voices to make meaningful changes to their school. On
a personal level, Student Council offers students opportunities to develop their leadership and communication skills and helps to build their
confidence in expressing their opinions
Our Student Council Motto: Have your say. Be heard. Make a difference!
