ICT in St Colman’s is where innovation meets education! In today's digital age, technology is not just a tool; it is the foundation for creating,
communicating, and collaborating. The ICT department is dedicated to equipping students with the essential skills they need to thrive in a
continually advancing technology focused world. Throughout the school, our pupils benefit from the portability of iPads with the versatility of
Google Classroom, thus, allowing students to access their Google Classroom assignments, and learning resources, from anywhere.
Our ICT curriculum is designed to be relevant and engaging, encompassing a wide range of topics that prepare students for the challenges of
the future. From spreadsheets and programming to mobile app development and digital image creation, our subjects are designed to inspire
creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
In St Colman’s, we believe that the best way to learn is through experience. Our students engage in hands-on projects, collaborative group work,
and real-world applications of technology.

continue to offer ICT into Key Stage 4 and 5 with GCSE/ A- Level and equivalents qualifications to prepare students for a variety of careers in the
digital sector.
Moving into Key Stage 5, we offer a more advanced
qualification to prepare students for a variety of
careers in the digital sector:
Pearson Level 3 National Extended Certificate in
Information Technology Beyond the classroom,
we offer a vibrant range of extracurricular
activities that encourage students to explore
their interests in technology, these include
Robotics and Coding. These experiences foster
teamwork, innovation, and a passion for
technology that extends beyond the classroom.
